Who We Are

He moved to the United States to attend dental school in Cleveland, OH. He graduated 2nd in the class from the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in 2015. It was in dental school that he met his wife, a dentist and a native of Westlake, OH.

After practicing general dentistry for three years on the East Coast, and completing a six month mini-residency for esthetics and implant dentistry, Dr. Sun and Dr. Daoud moved back home, closer to friends and family in Ohio.

Dr. Sun is proficient in several areas of dentistry, such as cosmetic restorations, fillings, veneers, crowns, and bridges. Dr. Sun’s extensive training allows him to provide more complex procedures to our patients, such as root canals, oral surgery procedures, bone augmentation, gum surgery, Invisalign, as well as the surgical placement of implants and implant restorations.

In Dr. Sun’s free time, he loves to play basketball, travel, and explore new places with his family and friends.

Dr. Daoud enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, and believes there is always something new
to learn in the field. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Greater Cleveland Dental Society. She also attends continuing education courses annually to stay at the forefront of the profession. She values treating each patient with care and compassion while creating only the most comfortable environment for her patients.

When Dr. Daoud isn’t in the office, she enjoys being in the company of her friends and family,
traveling with her husband, and being outdoors.

Dina graduated 1st in her class from Lorain County Community College’s dental hygiene program. She enjoys providing care to others, and works with our patients to educate them on how they can improve and maintain their oral health.

Dina is an adjunct faculty instructor at the dental hygiene program at LCCC. Outside the office, Dina enjoys spending time with her little family and working at her little wood-shop. She loves to travel, explore different places, and try new restaurants.

Katie is one of the newest members of the Lakewood Smiles team. She has been in the dental field for 8 years and has experience as both front desk and chair-side assisting. She is always ready to lend a helping hand whenever needed. When Kaite is not working, she enjoys traveling and trying new restaurants.
